Welcome to the AGI Global Summit Portland website, organized by the Global Economic Alliance (GEA). By accessing or using this website, purchasing tickets, or attending the event, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend the event.

1. Use of the Site

You may use this website solely for lawful purposes related to learning about or participating in the AGI Global Summit Portland and related GEA events. You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's functionality, security, or server networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.

2. Intellectual Property

All materials on this site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video, data compilations, software, and media—are owned or licensed by the Global Economic Alliance and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any content without our express written permission. Any unauthorized use may result in criminal and civil penalties.

3. Event Registration and Tickets

Registration for events through this website constitutes acceptance of the event's specific terms and policies, including our Refund Policy.

  • Account Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Non-Transferable: Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by GEA.
  • Age Requirement: Attendees must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian.
  • Payment: All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Ticket Validation: GEA reserves the right to verify ticket authenticity and deny entry for invalid or fraudulent tickets.

4. Event Attendance and Conduct

By attending the AGI Global Summit Portland, you agree to:

  • Comply with all venue rules, policies, and instructions from event staff.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Refrain from disruptive, offensive, or unlawful behavior.
  • Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or threatening conduct.

GEA reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates these terms or engages in inappropriate conduct, without refund or compensation.

5. Photography, Recording, and Media

By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. GEA and its authorized partners may use such media for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without compensation to you.

Attendees may not record, photograph, or live-stream event content without prior written permission from GEA, except for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Health and Safety

Attendance at the event is voluntary and at your own risk. You acknowledge that attendance at public events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to illness, injury, or accident.

GEA may implement health and safety protocols (including vaccination requirements, mask mandates, or health screenings) and reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who does not comply.

7. Modifications and Cancellations

GEA reserves the right to modify event schedules, speakers, locations, or content at any time without prior notice. In the event of cancellation by GEA, registered participants will be notified and provided with alternative options, such as transfer to a future event or, at GEA's sole discretion, a refund.

GEA is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by attendees.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information.
  • Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected.

GEA does not warrant that the site is free from viruses, malware, or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GEA and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, sponsors, and licensors shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if GEA has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Maximum Liability: In no event shall GEA's total liability exceed the amount you paid for event registration.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GEA and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the website or attendance at the event.
  • Your violation of these Terms of Use.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Any negligent or wrongful conduct by you.

11. Force Majeure

GEA shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, storms, pandemics).
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action.
  • Labor disputes, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
  • Utility failures, internet outages, or technical malfunctions.

This website may contain links to third-party websites or services. GEA is not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or security of external sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

13. Termination

GEA reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the website, cancel your registration, or deny event entry at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before filing any claim, you agree to contact GEA at info@agiglobalsummit.org to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Arbitration Agreement: Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court. The arbitration shall take place in Portland, Oregon.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only and waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon for any disputes not subject to arbitration.

16. Changes to Terms

GEA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GEA regarding use of this website.
